Directions to the Poway DMV Office in San Diego County

The Poway DMV can be reached via the I-15 North from the City of San Diego. Take the Poway Rd exit and proceed east. You will then turn left on to Community Rd and the Poway DMV office will be located on your right hand side in the Walmart Shopping Center.

From Eastern San Diego County:

You will take California 67 North Bound until you reach Poway Rd. Take a left on Poway Rd, then you will make a right on Community Rd. The DMV office will be located on your right hand side in the Walmart Shopping Center.

The best time to go to the Poway DMV is early in the morning. If you are first in line when the doors open, you will be in and out. If you arrive in the middle of the day then you will be waiting a very ling time to get assistance. The other time to go is right before the Poway DMV closes. They will give you some slack for arriving at that time, but hold the line. Do not let them intimidate you.
